Mashroat organized a workshop on O&M contracts attended by the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs high management and employees.
The workshop focused on introducing the enablement program for operation, maintenance and cleaning contracts at the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, within the first phase targeting cities’ municipalities. The workshop provided an extensive presentation on the enablement methodology of operation, maintenance and cleaning contracts at the Ministry and the establishment of an action plan. It introduced the attendees to the computerized system used in asset management and the practices adopted in Mashroat methodology for asset registration and assessment. The workshop also included a panel discussion regarding the impending issues of contract management, operation and maintenance and cleaning services.
This workshop is a further step towards the advancement of enabling the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs in the field of facilities management, which was initiated from a constructive partnership between the Ministry and Mashroat in order to achieve the common goals of raising the quality and sustainability of the Kingdom’s infrastructure.
