Mashroat and MOI conclude the extensive training program for the Ministry’s engineers
The National Project Management, Operation and Maintenance Organization (Mashroat) and the Ministry of Interior concluded the extensive training program provided by Mashroat for a month-long period. The training program aimed at building the capabilities of the Ministry in project management in line with Mashroat methodology that adopts international best practices.The program was carried out over several days between the period of January 26th and the 24th of February. Additionally, the extensive training program benefited a number of the Ministry’s fresh graduate engineers working within the EPMO and Facilities Affairs. The program covered 12 specialized courses in the field of Project Management including: Project Management, the 5-year Portfolio Planning, Stage Gate, Project Control, Contracts, Design and Construction, Testing and Commissioning, Project close-out and hand-over, Risk Management, Quality Management and Continuous Improvement. This program was executed within the framework of the continuous partnership between Mashroat and the Ministry of Interior. Its purpose lies in supporting the Ministry by raising its efficiency in project management through the provision of manuals, models, procedures and training on the best international practices of project management sector in order to achieve the objective of Mashroat represented in qualifying the national cadres working within the national project management offices to ensure an elevated level of performance of these offices.
At the end of the extensive training program, the Ministry and Mashroat staff celebrated its completion and conclusion with the attendance of the Director of Planning and Development at the EPMO and Facilities Affairs in the Ministry of Interior, Eng. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi.
